Today we visit the obscure BMW 503, built in the 1950s for the purpose of relieving Americans of their money. Sadly for its makers neither it nor the related 507 succeeded in this laudable objective. Until now of course, if you’ve been keeping an eye on values.
Both 503 and 507 were designed by Albrecht, Graf von Schlitz genannt von Goertz von Wrisberg who mercifully was known as plain Albrecht von Goertz and who has !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
In case you’re wondering, that’s the Bosch logo of the time on the distributor cap.
